THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.
User who did this - Josh (keeperofdakeys) Attached to Project - awesome Summary - maximised windows do not stay maximised when they change size Task Type - Bug Report Category - Core Status - Unconfirmed Assigned To - Operating System - All Severity - Low Priority - Normal Reported Version - git/master Due in Version - Undecided Due Date - Undecided Details - When awesome has a window maximised, and the window wants to change size, awesome will resize the window while still thinking it's maximised. Instead, awesome should ignore the change in size, and only honour it when the video is no longer maximised. This behaviour was observed while using the video player "mpv" (an mplayer fork), which changes the window size to match the resolution of the video playing. Personally I know of no other programs that change their own size in such a way, so I can't test it further. However, I've had a good look at the awesome code, and suspect that the window's maximised state isn't being checked when a new window size is requested by the client. This was confirmed on 3.5.2, and the latest git master (v3.5.2-16-g7adc21e).
