Hi,

awesome claims on it's homepage, that it has "real" multihead support.
However, searching the wiki for "multihead" doesn't give results and
the mailing list only has a few threads.

One of the main motivations for switching to awesome would be, if it
could do: (thinkpad T61, nVidia Quadro NVS 140M)

* move programs from one monitor to another
* restrict fullscreen to one monitor, maximize only to the width of one
  monitor
* don't get confused when I switch on/off the second monitor, e.g. the
programs which were on the second monitor need to be still accessible

That's all I dare to ask...

And if this is possible, how do I set it up with the Debian
distribution?

Best regards,
