I agree wholeheartedly. I love awesome.
The only thing I wish it had was a "GUI" way to associate clients with a tag
(for automatic assignment) and to remember the specific predefined view per tag.
It's a little irritating to have to configure, but it works just the same once
you figure it out. :)
Well, that, and a "run: " command that's more similar to Ion's. But that's
easily hacked on.
I do not have any problem/issue at all with awesome. My only request is
to keep it as it is (lightweight and fast) instead
of going to the familiar lane of adding (just) one more feature and
ending up with a huge beast (see wmii vs dwm).
Yep. Better to keep it so there's at least a little learning curve, for the sake
of not wanting to approach a gconf/kitchen sink paradigm. :)
