Hi,
I've noticed a few things after trying out 3.4. In 3.3.x, I believe that
the default value for opacity on a client was 'nil'. Now, it appears to
have changed to '-1'. Was that intentional? I personally felt that nil made
a little more sense.
Also, I like the idea behind the new awful.rules. I've added:
{ rule = { class = "urxvt" },
properties = { opacity = 0.9 } },
But, unfortunately, that seems to have no effect. The
_NET_WM_WINDOW_OPACITY property does not exist on those windows until I use
my key bindings to change the opacity. xprop tells me the class for the
windows I want to match is:
WM_CLASS(STRING) = "urxvt", "URxvt"
so, I'd think that rule should match, right? Any suggestions?
