Greetings, everyone.

I have the following bug:
When I have 4 or more windows in the "fair horizontal" layout switching
behaves strange. I use "switch to next client" and "switch to prev client"
hotkeys. They are mod4+j and mod4+k by default. The problem is sometimes it
does not switch to the next client (actually it does but just for a moment
and immediately switches back) or jumps over one client and switches to the
next one. So I have to cycle every time several times to make active client
that I want to make active. Is there any workaround or fix for this?

I have no idea, that's pretty fubar. However, you could try using
awesome's less known focus-by-direction functions instead of the
default cycling ones. You can see the docs for them in the API --
pretty straight forward.

Oh, I have an idea suddenly. Maybe something with mouse focus causing
it to switch back? I don't know, don't use it. But something to
investigate. I don't think this is a generic problem.

It looks like my config problem... Becouse my friend have the same problem while using my config on another computer. Focusing may be a problem, I'll check this out, thanks. But AFAIK switch on mouse pointer focus works only when pointer enters the client's area? Anyways it's a good place to start.

PS: zshrun work in progress... I hope I'll finish it someday. =)
