Hi, it seems that in the latest versions of ArchLinux and OpenSuSE (and maybe others), cairo is being built without support for xcb. This makes it impossible to build awesome on these distributions. The justification seems to be that cairo-xcb is experimental and buggy and does not have a maintainer.
What are possible solutions to this problem? Will newer versions of awesome work without cairo-xcb? Best, Mika -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
