awesome hangs on starting x11-ssh-askpass

Hi.

 

I would like to use askpass to enter passwords through the gui. When I start /usr/lib/ssh/x11-ssh-askpass, then the askpass window will not appear *and* the screen focus will be locked to the terminal from which I started askpass. It seems that this is probably a known bug:

The bug has no found its way from the git version to the release version. Is there a way to fix this through the config file without the need to apply a patch?
