What about a x51v? WM5 isn't kept in ram!

I'd be willing to test linux on there if someone can give some step by step's.
I think if i power of the device (close all running stuff and write
open PIM data to rom)
then load linux i shouldn't lose data... since WM5 is complelty gone
from ram at that point.
