The gmp configure and build seems to work. I made a copy of h/powerpc-macosx.defs and h/powerpc-macosx.h and called ./configure --enable-machine=i386-macosx --prefix=/usr/local --enable-locbfd --disable-statsysbfd Now there's some problems with malloc.h not being found. configure.in has a test for powerpc-macosx that should be duplicated for the new i386-macosx target. I'll work on it some more tomorrow. -- Humberto Ortiz-Zuazaga Programmer-Archaeologist University of Puerto Rico http://www.hpcf.upr.edu/~humberto/
