I believe we must not underestimate people's time.  If it does not
work out from the box, you'll have hard time convincing people that it
is worth their time.  It is a fact I've observed  many times in many
occassions. This is partly why I'm spending so much resource in
simplifying the build machinery; and I hope it does not get lost
because the Axiom community is unfocused -- even though it is a very
very tiny community. 

For my class using Axiom to "succeed", I need an Axiom that does not
require heroic effort -- please don't tell me "yum", "apt-get"; they
don't work for everybody.
