+1 for removing versioned docs from the svn. Docs corresponding to the release can be found at the corresponding tag in the svn. We'll keep the latest in the svn. For the web site I would say that we need to support older versions and hence we might keep docs for older versions as well ( we need to come up with a good plan for this).
