I have one more Question ...
whether these lib files (*.so) you mentioned above are Platform dependent
or not .
i.e whether I have to download different lib for RHEL3 and sun-solaris os .
One of my friend told me instead of down loading binary distribution ,
down load the source code to sun-solaris machine and compile , generate the
lib and use .
Please advice on this issue.
