I found the problem.

In RPCElement we were assuming that if you had a service description, it was server 
side only.  If you have a client-config.wsdd, then we were not triggering the code for 
the client case.

CVS commit coming shortly.

A bit more info.  Did you grab
http://xml.apache.org/~rubys/client_deploy.wsdd when you got echotest.pl?
I had a client_deploy.wsdd on my machine - no idea where it came from - and
with that one it seemed to work.  But when I grabbed the one from ~rubys I
started seeing the interop problems.

Weird - this works fine for me...

Anyone else having problems?

(I tried WASP and DolphinHarbor, both of which were apparently failing
according to the matrix on nagoya...)
