Hi,

I think anything we do is temporary pending the question of how Web services fits into the Apache project - I would imagine that in the future something like http://apache_webservices_project_name.apache.org/wsif would be nice, but for now I'd prefer http://xml.apache.org/wsif.

Nirmal.

I like http://xml.apache.org/wsif better, and as we'd like to move WSIF out
of AXIS some day wouldn't  it be better to start off here from the start?

Since by name we're a subproject of Axis ...

+1 for http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsif

With the up coming WSIF release we like to have a homepage URL less yukky
than the current
http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/xml-axis-wsif/java/readme.htm

We'd like to use:

http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsif

or even better:

http://xml.apache.org/wsif

Does anyone have objections to this? As we all seem to be commiters to
xml-site can we just create new directories in xml-site/targets/ or would
that upset someone or break something?

Thanks,

If a wsif directory was created under targets/axis in the xml-site project,
we could then put the WSIF pages there and access them via:

http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsif

Is it that simple.?

What do other people think?

So is anyone actually looking at moving from
http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/xml-axis-wsif/java/readme.htm
to something nicer?

The discussion was started back in September on this thread:
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=axis-dev&m=103314341229949&w=2

Should we add a separate task to try to do this for the 2.0 release?
