They changed the log4j-library to log4j-1.2.4.jar, but
log4j-1.2.5.jar (the newest release) works also. Maybe this
is the reason for your logging problem. Additionally i don't
found any problems with the logging. Hm, but i am not using
log4j.properties in the axis.jar. I put the file in my classpath,
i. e. put it in the classes dir of my webapp.
