I was running some userguide samples in a batch script over the weekend
and timing the results. It was consistently about 250-300 milliseconds.
I am running on Windows 2k box, 1.8Ghz, 1Gb RAM.

Subject: Axis performance
Being new to Axis, I was not sure to expect. I am runnning Beta2 on
top of Tomcat 4.0.4, which is integrated with Apache 1.3.26 using
mod_webapp.
Is there a performance hit having Axis and Tomcat integrated? The
userguide samples are taking EIGHT SECONDS to return a result. (The
box axis is on is a PentiumII-200 with RH7.2).
