Dave, Can you please try latest CVS / Nightly Build. Checked in fixes for performance a few days back. I'd like a comparison between latest CVS and what you have now. (I definitely know that 1.1RC2 had a lot of problems, so you might want to use 1.1Final.). Please post the results here.
Also any code, wsdl, soap traces from tcpmon would be really useful to diagnose and rectify problems. we'd really appreciate this info in the form of a bug report so that we don't lose track of this important information.
