Hello * Great news on a side and bad on others. The AxKit 1.5 bundled in Woody (aka Debian GNU/Linux 3.0, still in testing but will be released in May) works wonderfully!
Unfortunately, I also tried to install a new version compiling it from scratch, but it doesn't work. Using mozilla and trying to connect, you get a loop: 1) apache gets the request 2) axkit handles it 3) axkit downloads the DTD and validates the document OK 4) axkit passes control to XPathScript 5) axkit sends code 200 back to the browser 6) the connection suddenly aborts 7) mozilla requests again the page, the cycle restarts from 1) Using lynx instead, you can get the real error: the connection is abnormally terminated. I tried to investigate the problem running httpd with the -X option, but it doesn't die -it simply hangs with XPathScript trying to process the page. Any ideas?
