-- Hi,
I know the question may seem naif but I was wondering if there are ways to "compile" xsp/taglibs. By "compile" I just mean a way to "hide" source code in some kind of binary format that con be understood by perl/mod_perl/axkit (please fogive the "closed-sourcedness" of my question but you know, sometimes we must considers all aspects...). I know some about the process of perl interpreting/compiling and I know about the possibility of producing some kind of intermediate "bytecode" that can be used through the ByteLoader module to reproduce the perlcode for the per interpreter but I've also read that this is considered experimental. On the other side I know mod_perl should use a similar system... as for axkit I know it utilized mod_perl so... I don't know... and that's why I wrote to the mailing-list. Does anybody had the patience of clear up a bit my confusion?
