I would like to ask you guys if you think it would be a good idea for me to host AxKit sites as well. I run my own servers to host my personal AxKit sites, and I know of many others here who do the same. So, would I be serving the community (as well as myself :) by providing AxKit hosting, or is there no demand for it?
First, I don't think you are spamming us; the question is pertinent to
this list, even if not so easy to reply.

IMHO the question you should ask is "how many people would pay for have
their AxKitted site hosted?". And where you could ask this question
first other than the AxKit users' list?

Is there a need for AxKit hosting? Maybe yes. It could make sense to run
a spider or such to collect information about servers and to see how
many AxKit sites are around; I tried to dig in netcraft.com, but I
couldn't find a way to gather information about it.

I don't want to waste my time (of which there is very little available) supporting a service that won't be used, but at the same time I'd hate to see AxKit newbies move on to PHP just because there was nowhere they could host it.
The same holds for me. But how many AxKit newbies would pay for hosting
their site?

Maybe a web poll could help. Is there an appropriate place where we
could ask to have a poll on the subject?

Ciao
