Yes exactly. > I'm deeply interested in more details about this. I was looking > the other day at writing a taglib to access eXist, parallel > to the one supplied for Cocoon. Any one else thinking of that? You don't need to, since XML::DB does Xindice, eXist and plain filesystem access. (Which is totally cool - you can develop small apps using no DB at all and switch to one later on.) Also, I don't recommend eXist. It lost my data several times during my experiments, both the current release and the current beta. Xindice has its quirks as well, but at least data store is rock solid - it even let me copy over the store files from one server to the other while both were running. (Don't do this at home! You don't want this when accesses are happening ;-) -- CU Joerg PGP Public Key at http://ich.bin.kein.hoschi.de/~trouble/public_key.asc PGP Key fingerprint = D34F 57C4 99D8 8F16 E16E 7779 CDDC 41A4 4C48 6F94 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
