The nice thing is, the API is exactly like the java XMLDB API. The bad thing 
is, the API is exactly like the Java XMLDB API. You get the idea, I bet ;-)

I tried it around Christmas, and it could not ensure data integrity. Sure, I 
did let the machine crash (hard rebooted without warning), but IMHO this 
should not destroy the whole repository in one go. Xindice can handle this, 
so I took that one. eXist has full text search, though. I miss it a bit.
