Nice! There's one thing: Why not use unordered lists for the menus? I have hardly seen anybody use it, but conceptually, the menus _are_ unordered lists, and visually, you can achieve the same thing by using list-style-CSS. As for the font size, I agree that people are inclined to cram too much stuff in too little space. In fact, 14px feels very small allready. Personally, I prefer 18... :-) But why set this property at all? I mean, if you do not set it, the user's default will be used, and the user's default is probably what the user wants... :-) (Personally, I never use font-size for normal text, for exactly this reason).
