Well, it could be useful in some contexts. Personally I would like to see 
something that was client-server. There really isn't much in the way of open 
source client-server XML databases.

In any case, a provider is really all we need. If some sort of perl module 
exists for providing access to this beast then a provider should be pretty 
straightforward. The outstanding question then being how does the query 
mechanism work...
