Let me try to get this straight. Where did you find the info? Church?
Village?
Antonio de Lima was a native of Senhora das Neves in Relva. His wife was
probably Felicia Feliciana S. Jose de Jesus?
Where did you find the info? The grandparents are listed on the birth of
Antonio born in 1803 to Francisco Jose and Mairana Joaquina, she is the
daughter of Antonio de lima and Feliciana S. Jose of S. Jose, S. Miguel. I will
look at it and see what I can figure out.
Are Marianna, (yes) Maria Antonia, Jose (yes Jose Luis) all the children
of Antonio de Lima X Felicia de (Jesus?).

Dear Theresa:
Well, I was at the FHC at 9am. until 3 and mot of that time I was looking
for Francisco and Marianna's marriage certificate. Since I had her birth year,
1778, I started looking even at her being 14 when she married all the way until
1803. But, that was the birth year April 1803 of their son Antonio, so I
didn't look after 1803.
The process I followed was to look through each certificate for the
words "filho de or filha de." In this tedious process, I found that Marianna
had a sister named Maria Antonia who married Vicente Lopez 20 October 1793.
This Maria Antonia was born around 1773. Marianna was born 1778 A N D I
also found a brother in the baptisms microfilm named Jose. " filho de Antonio
de Lima, natural de Senhora das Neves da Revla, e de sua mulher felicia de
"jElle? natural desta igresia...naceu 20 Mayo 1771. (I noticed they didn't say
the mother's name as Felicianna but I think it's the correct person.)
Jose was the oldest in 1771
Maria Antonia, abt 1793
Marianna, 1778
I am very concerned that I can't find the marriage certificate of
Francisco and Marianna in the Sao Jose records and am wondering where to go
from here. Could it be Sao Sebastian?
Thanks for all your help,
Maria Elena

Sorry I sent you on a wild goose chase. No ermidas are listed in S.
Maria. I found a website that had pictures of all of them. NS Candias wasn't
there although there were pictures of about 20 ermidas in Santa Maria.
NS Gloria is the Ermida of NS Purificacao. Don't waste your time
looking for Ermidas in Santa Maria. The only churches they have are the 3
listed in LDS. I have all Obits, marriages and baptismal records of NS
Purificacao, the earlistest ones of Vila do Porto, from 1598 to about 1720, and
Santa Barbara from the 1620's to about 1750 or so.
I still think you should look for the marriage of Francisco and Mariana
Joaquina in S. Jose, or the birth of other children of this couple there. Good
luck, Theresa

Hi Theresa:
Well, here I was for a few minutes so hyped because the church
existed and you gave me the name of the Ermida.
Then, it dawned on my that I didn't see that name in the Family
History catalog. I spent most of the evening trying to find something about
GLORIA, Santa Maria and the name of the Church.
So, I didn't get to the FHC tonight; tomorrow am I plan to be there
at 9 a.
Thank you so much for all your help.
Maria Elena
