1. I ordered the film from the Family History Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Everyone is welcomed to go and use the Family History Center. As you may already know, they are not open all the time so you need to check times and days. I believe it was $5.75 to order the film. It came within a week. The Microfilm number is 1330766 -- Batismos 1641-1644, 1673-1800 The parish is Igreja Catolica. Nossa Senhora das Neves, (Relva, Ponta Delgada) Do you know how to access the Library catalogue on line? 2. You asked, does it cover any other names? This was a birth certificate of an Antonio, son of Manoel de Lima.. Manoel de Lima was from Relva and his wife, Marianna Roza was from parish of Sao Jose. This was on page 270. Another De Lima was on page 279. It had a Joao, son of Joze de Lima X Barbara (I did not write down if they were natives of the parish of Relva or if they came from other places. There was one more Manoel de Lima married to Antonia Francisca de Medeiros, both natives of Relva. That was page 79 or 80. On this one I didn't write down the name of the child, just the parents. You asked which island. The island of Sao Miguel. Relva is "close" to Ponta Delgada. By the way, when you get the film it will start with the records of another church that starts with an M. Can't remember the name. At first I thought they sent the wrong film but as I kept rolling, eventually I got to the baptisms for Relva. Hope this is helpful. Maria Elena > Now I am excited.
