That Wash, is just a chemical reaction of the ink and the paper acid. It 
shows up black on the film, but the originals in the archives are perfectly 
legible. Let me know what Shirley finds. I also left out some info. There were 
notes 
about wills, deeds and bequests that confirmed the relationships of these 
people. If shirley is interested I can give her this info.
