Hi: That DOM of 7 Oct 1586 is for someone else.
I managed to find Ana Jacome Raposa married to Bartholomeu Roiz etc. on the
GeneAll.net website.
I have this couple married Aug 1609-Sep 1611. The pages are missing for this
time period.

There's something weird with this John. Shirley and I talked about this
the other day.
Shirley did find a record on 7 Oct 1586 for a Bart. Rodrigues whoever and
an Anna in Nordeste. I believe she looked on that date because of what was in
Rodrigo Rodrigues (not that any book will be 100% accurate). However, when
Shirley pulled the film, most of that record has that wash put over it, so when
it was filmed, it became all blacked out. She sent an email to Eliseu to see
if he had any time on his next visit to the Biblioteca to view the actual book
to see what it really says. It sounds like there are two Barts married to two
Annas. I'm not sure, but this info might also be in Familias Antigas de
Povoacao. I think it's good to go to the actual source, so it will be good to
see what Shirley finds off of the original record from the date you gave.
Cheri
That Wash, is just a chemical reaction of the ink and the paper acid. It
shows up black on the film, but the originals in the archives are perfectly
legible. Let me know what Shirley finds. I also left out some info. There were
notes about wills, deeds and bequests that confirmed the relationships of these
people. If shirley is interested I can give her this info.
