Shirley. Can you be more specific on your Pedro de Oliveira from S. Miguel. I have a Pedro de Oliveira, born 1805 in Santa Cruz, Lagoa, son of Jose de Oliveira (Jose de Medeiros Oliveira) and Antonia Maria; paternal grandson of Jose de Medeiros and Maria Pereira. A Pedro Jose de Oliveira, born 1852 in Ponta Delgada, son of Antonio Jose de Oliveira and Francisca Miquelina Tavares do Rego Calisto and a Pero de Oliveira, son of Joao Pires and Isabel de Vasconcellos. Any of them a fit? I am not sure where in Flores but that is where she was brought up. She told me Antonio Pedro was a ship's architect and once came to Philadelphia. We have had no further contact so I don't know much more than that. I believe she is related to me by my "casanova" ggrandfather. I thought we had the same ggrandparents but another relative told me they think she was my grandmother's half sister.
