Cynthia, The Portuguese spelling is Caldeira. If you go back to the uminho site and try this spelling you will see about a hundred in the different fregusias. I did not find Innocencia there. However the records for Castel Branco are currently not availble, so check back.
For better assistance you need to give more information, such as where the data you have came from and what the brothers name is, or how you know of him. A quick search of the 1930 census shows only 2 families named Caldera in San Benito county at Tres Pinos, again no Innocencia. She may have used another name, or was living somewhere esle prior to 1947. Perhaps these people are relatives she went to live with in her later years. Taking the time to write out all the information you have gets much better results from our site.
