The results from the "Sizzling Summer Sale" are starting to come in. There
are nine others still due between now and Christmas.

On the Y-DNA results (the male DNA which strictly follows an all-male line:
a man's father's father's father's father all the way back in time), we got
a 36 out of 37 marker match (kits 75203 and 106619). They match probably
within a couple of hundred years. Now to wait for them to figure out the
paper trail. This is our 2nd Y-DNA match in the project. Use Ctrl+F to
search for the kit numbers:

On the mtDNA results (the female DNA which strictly follows an all-female
line: anyone's mother's mother's mother's mother all the way back in time),
we got close. mtDNA is different. You must match exactly since mutations
happen once every few thousand years. The close match was between kits
134202 and 106374. Use Ctrl+F to search for the kit numbers:
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Azores (click on mt Results).

I'm not trying to be coy by stating the kit numbers. The DNA is kept
private. Everyone involved in these matches are on this list, so if they
want to let everyone know their kit number they will speak up.
