On the 1st day of February, 1869 I baptized a masculine child and gave him the name of Francisco who was born at the place of Santo Antonio at 1 pm on the 30th of January of same year, legitimate son of Antonio Domingos Soares de Bettencourt and Maria Michelina de Bettencourt, natives here. Paternal grandparents were Domingos Antonio de Sousa and Maria Joaquina de Bettencourt. Maternal grandparents were Antonio Faustino D'Almeida and Anna Josefa de Sao Joao. Godparents were Franciscvo Faustino D'Almeida, married, maternal uncle and Nossa Senhora do Rosario.
