I just stumbled across a website while looking for some good portuguese recipes that I'm sure will be of interest to some if not most of you. It's called Leite's Culinaria by the portuguese food writer David Leite. I particularly liked the radio interview he did in which he talks about first becoming interested in his portuguese heritage with particular regard to food here is the link to that piece:
http://www.leitesculinaria.com/media/saucy_sisters.html Here's the link to the recipes: http://www.leitesculinaria.com/recipes/index.html And I highly recommend that you check out the writing section "Notes >From Portugal" - here's the link for that too: http://www.leitesculinaria.com/writings/notes/notes.html To all of you I hope you had a lovely Christmas and will have a great New Year - to some of you I apologize for being out of touch - it's been wildly busy at NYU and I had a family emergency just around Thanksgiving. Everything is quiet now and I'm making headway on organizing all of my research so that I can more readily share the information with others. I think I finally figured out how to make a GEDCOM on Reunion. Happy New Year, Mary Ann --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]. Follow the confirmation directions when they arrive.
