I'd just like to offer an FYI that there is a FURTADO obituary in today's "Lowell Sun" (MA/US). And a reminder to others that there is usually an obituary in the newspaper which mentions the Azores every week. www.lowellsun.com Betty (near Lowell, MA, USA) (Researching PACHECO and MOURA in Cambridge, MA, USA, from 1900 to present. And a Francisco "Frank" MOURA who moved to CA, USA, in early 1900's. My research shows there were MOURA's in Brooklyn, NY, USA, and Frank's brother, Manuel MOURA, moved there.) (I found out that Mrs. Elsie (MOURA) PACHECO in Cambridge, MA, from ~1900 to ~1980, probably lied to her grandchildren. She said her late husband had no relatives in US. I have found out that other PACHECO's in Cambridge and Somerville, MA, "were" related to him. He had been killed in a car accident in 1927, and left her with 5 young children and pregnant with twins.
