Beloved husband of Helena (nee Pacheco) for 52 years. Loving father of Lucy and Fernando De Melo, Antonio and the late Zita Rego, Armando and Laura Rego, Carlos and Shirley Rego, Durvalino and Maria Rego, John and Tania Rego. Cherished Vavo of the late Lanna-Lee, the late Kendrick, Nina, the late Aimee, Corey, Eric, Matthew, Issac, Zachary, Jonathan, Sandra, Emily, Brandon, Monica, Leanne, Mark, Jesse, Lucas and Tatiana. Survived by his brothers Jose and Joaquim and predeceased by his brother Vergilio and his sister Maria Jose. Sadly missed by many family and friends in Canada and Portugal.
