Hi, I would like to send for my grandfather, Manuel Robert Sousa’s birth certificate. According to both the 1920, Providence, Rhode Island & 1930, Cranston, Rhode Island US Census, the year of his immigration into the US was 1910, but I’m having a difficult time pin pointing him down on any passenger record into New England. All I know for certain is his full name, date of birth, marriage and death, and he was from Terceira.
Manuel R. Sousa/Souza b. 22 May 1888 Is there more then one church on the island of Terceira where I would send off for a birth of Manuel R. Sousa/Souza?
