The godfather was the said maternal grandfather, Manuel Silveira Goncalves, married, laborer, and the godmother was Isabel de Jesus Brasil, single, a domestic, who I know to be the proper ones. Note in the margin: The priest started to write the father's name as Jose Teixeira Anacleto, then wrote "digo" which means "I meant to say" and then wrote Mattos.
