You both responded and completed it so quickly. I am grateful for the help on this list. As a Newbie to reading the films, I need the support and opinions of all you who so readily come to help.
Ginny first showed me that the 1900 baptismos on CCA included other years. Once I knew that I was able to do the search, find my record and do a first go at translating. Wish I had listened more, and better, to my relatives when they came to visit and spoke Portuguese. And my amazing Mom who spoke wonderful English, could read and write, as well as speak Portuguese, and also speak Spanish. I miss her every day. Thanks for all your help!
