Looking for help or suggestions on searching Alfred and Amelia Viera from Brooklyn New York. They lived in New Bedford until sometime in the mid 1920's. I knew they had moved to New York City. That is where I hit my wall on them. With the recent obituaries that were found on the UMass site, it showed the family in Brooklyn. Does anyone know if there are city directories for Brooklyn online? My mother in law said her grandmother Amelia Viera would visit in New Bedford into the early 1950's but she doesn't remember anything else about them, and she never new her grandfather Alfred Viera.
