I was wondering if anyone had a connection or information about any of
the branches of the Costa family from Nossa Senhora da Neves, Relva,
Sao Miguel or Nossa Senhora de Saude, Arrifes, Sao Miguel. My line
from these places is with Antonio Silveira da Costa, born in 1838 from
Arrifes, Sao Miguel. His parents were Joao da Costa and Ana Maria.
Joao da Costa was from N.S. da Neves, Relva, Sao Miguel. Joao's
parents were Antonio da Costa, born 1734, and Magdalena Rosa.
Magdalena Rosa was Antonio's 2nd wife. His first wife was Thereza
Cordeira. Antonio's parents were Manuel da Costa and Thereza da Souza
or Thereza Fonseca. Any info would be helpful.
