Dear Tish,

???? Here is what I came up with. I don't know the surnames of the mother and
her father.

Anna, legitimate daughter of Nicalao Maria De Figueredo and Barnardina Rosa De
..?.., natives of this Parish Church of Senhora Santa Barbara, village of the
place of Sao Laurenco of this island of Santa Maria, living at ...?... Das
Lages, paternal grandaughter of Alexandre Francisco De ...?... and his wife
Coleta Rosa and maternal of Laurenco Jose, I mean to say, paternal grandaughter
of Laurenco Jose De Figueredo and his wife Maria Rosa and maternal grandaughter
of Alexandre Francisco Da .....?... and his wife Coleta Rosa, all natives of
this parish, born on the 7th day of June of the year 1833 and in this parish
was baptized on the 13th of the same month and year by the Reverend Laurenco
Jose De Figueredo, curate here. Godparents were Manoel Joaquim De Figueredo,
single and Rosa Jacinta, single, brother of the father and sister of the mother
of the baptized. Witnesses were the said Laurenco Jose Figueredo and Alexander
Francisco De ..?,, and with me signed on the day, month and year as stated
above.

Hopefully, some else will know what that surname is.

Hi
I was hoping someone could help me with a translation. The record is from Santa
Barbara, Island of Santa Maria.

I photographed this from microfiche and if anyone is interested will tell you
what machine, camera, etc was used.
