Here's the latest info I received on my full sequence mtDNA test:
___
Your mtDNA Full Sequence results have been posted for kit _____. In
addition to the results that have been posted, your sample also
contains a type of mutation known as “heteroplasmy.” Heteroplasmy is a
mutation in which some copies of your mtDNA have one result and other
copies have another. For example, mutations are normally listed as
something similar to “16519C.” Your heteroplasmy mutation is listed,
however, as 15449T/C.

Our system is not yet capable of displaying the heteroplasmy results,
so they are not included in what was uploaded to your personal page.
Once our updates to the system are complete and it is able to display
the mutation, we will add it to your record for you.

If you are interested in learning more about what a heteroplasmy
mutation is and how the results should be handled, you may visit our
FAQ entry on the subject here:

Just thought I'd share the link in case anyone else might find they
have this... It will be interesting to see how it could be used in the
future.

It took them several tries and a new sampling to get my results. I'd
say they were thorough!
