Hi Robin, You post caught my eye because it mentions that you had family in Butte County California.
My Portuguese Great Grandparents as far as I can tell so far started in Butte County. The last names that I have found that they used are Francisco, Franck, Frank and Martin. The cities that they lived in Butte County California. Clear Creek Cherokee Oroville Chico. What family names and cities did they live in in Butte County?
