Yes my Great Grandmother Alexandria was born Feb 28 1907, ( I think she was the baby of the family and I think she was born a twin but the twin died I am not sure because I have never seen her birth certificate only what she has told us). She came to America when she was about 13 and according to the ship records she was born in Capelas her sister Francelina came with her and she was 16 all I know about her is that she was born in 1904 in Bretanha there mother was with them Maria Isabelle Vital nee Cabral she was born around 1872. There were other sisters as far as I know Maria, Louisa and Sofia. Jacinto was there father and settled in California before he sent for them. My Great Grandmother Alexandria met my Great Grandfather Joseph Texeira (born July 14, 1899) in Oakland, Ca. He had come over from Maui, Hawaii but I think was orginally from the Azores too or his parents Antoneo Texeira born 1848 and Maria Correa born1850 but I'm not sure?
