Hi Tish, This is for blood relations:
1st, 2nd and 3rd degree of consanguinity: "*primeiro, segundo e terceiro degrau de consanguinidade de que obtiveram dispensa por sentença apostolica*". Also, watch for; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree of licit affinity. It usually reads like this; "*alem do primeiro, segundo e terceiro grau de afinidade licita, de que obtiveram dispensa por sentença apostolica*". An exammple of "licit" would be when in-laws remarry each other after their respective husband/wife pass away, and or any other similar "legal" relationship.
