Thank you Karl. That is a useful site but I couldn't find Beatriz Macedo, she
would have been the aunt or something like that of Filippa Macedo. They ha
different fathers and Beatriz seems to be a generation ahead of Filippa. they
have the same relatives e.g Sodre, Nuno Alvares Pereira. So, I conclude for the
moment that Beatriz Macedo was also from the Macedo de Cavelerios line back to
the Vinhals. Can anyone confirm this?.
Incidentally I was away this time last year when Nuno Alvares Pereira was
canonised by the Pope. what a life he lead.
Also,I am aware that there were people I did not reply too last year before
and after I went to Brazil. I'm truly sorry, it's a long story but my diabetes
went haywire and was not stabilised until I changed doctors earlier this year.
I should have picked up what was wrong but was too sick to do so. So again
sorry.
Now I'm off to France and a week in Portugal.
