Hello Listers,
A new friend of mine, not Portuguese, graduated from New Bedford, Ma
High School in 1961. There were over 600 students & more than half
were of Portuguese descent.
Yesterday, I had the time of my life looking through his yearbook at
all the faces & names of the graduates. He couldn't understand why I
was so fascinated with his yearbook....even after I explained to him
my passion for my Portuguese genealogy research. Of course my Azores
google friends can relate to this! I'm sure that I looked upon a few
distant cousins that I haven't found the connection to yet as New
Bedford is where my Pico & Faial grandparents were married & lived
for several years.
If anyone on the list thinks they may have a connection or a clue
that could be found in this 1961 New Bedford high school yearbook,
please let me know. I would be happy to search through it for you.
