I also graduated from New Bedford High 1962.  Lived in Acushnet but  the 
town of Acushnet did not have their own High School.  My maternal  grandmother 
was Maria Pereira Goncalves. My cousin and I  will be traveling to New 
Bedford from San Jose, Ca.  the end of July.   We will be attending the 
Portuguese Feast and meeting with family and  friends we haven't seen in many 
years.
