Arlene M, There are no records for Sao Miguel online. Records are coming online, but not for Sao Miguel, except for Hermano's index on Lagoa, I think.
You may have to order Antonio's birth for the archive on Horta. An 1888 baptism will confirm where the parents are from. The address for the archive in Horta can be found on the Azores GenWeb.
