I'm descended from Pero's brother, her son Nuno Velho Cabral and Africa Anes.......so, you're my earliest cousin that I know of to date,(most of the others are less than 500 years ago). However, I've been reading quite a bit about Dom Afonso lll since learning he's my grandfather in eons past....I'm actually more intrigued by his mistress, Madragana from whom we descend....in one of the things I read it stated that they have an estimated 5000 descendants so I guess they'll be more cousins discovered at some point in time!
